Pro Aero Tow Reviews

"Pro Aero tow was extremely helpful as an aero tow wannabe. The repeated shots of takeoffs were great. The discussion of what makes a good tug was also interesting. I've had a Ka6e in the box for over a year waiting for this kind of information. Thanks." -Steve Byrum

"Paul Naton's new video, "Pro Aero Tow", can be summed up in one word: AWESOME! The professional photography, editing, interviews and choreographed sound track are beautifully done. He has captured the splendor and magnificence of scale soaring. The shots of the vintage Minimoa in the air are worth the price of the video." - John Thayer

"I have just had the pleasure of viewing Paul Naton's new Pro Aerotow video. Having produced three professional aerotow video tapes myself during the heyday of the Elmira Aerotow, I have to say Paul's effort is beyond compare. Super scale ships both up close and personal, interviews with the pilots, and fantastic flying footage of some of the largest and most pristine scale ships in the U.S. Dan Troxell's flying aerobatics with his Grunau Baby is the high point of the tape for me, but there are many outstanding flights and it is hard to pick the one best.

There is a great graphic demo of exactly how to install tow releases, verbal instructions on how to aerotow, and a real time video demo of a first time aerotow pilot receiving a lesson from an experienced pilot. I would recommend this video to anyone interested in the beauty and grace of large scale soaring, and also to anyone interested in the mechanics of aerotowing. There are several manufacturers highlighted, included flying footage and descriptions of; EMS and a flight demo of the Sperber, the HKM ASW-27, the Pegasus tow plane at work. Axel's pilots, and Bruckmann modellbau. Buy the tape! Get hooked! Go fly!" - John Derstine

"Hi guys: I watched Paul Naton's new video "Pro Aerotow", and it was great. Most of it was filmed at the ISSA Chino, California event last October with the last few minutes showing footage at Torrey Pines. Of course it was 100% scale in coverage, with a lot of flying shots and in-depth interviews with pilots discussing their sailplanes. I have bought all of Paul's videos and I enjoyed this one the most. Thanks, Paul, for doing a totally scale video! " - Stan Sadorf
