"I have several of your videos and enjoy them very much. I recently received the “Performance Tuning” video and have watched it through completely once and reviewed separate sections several times. This is an extremely useful tool! And now I look forward to getting the video on “Programming” when it comes out. Anyway, “Performance Tuning” was great and I highly recommend it as all of your other DVDs." - Howard Bielich

"Today, after watching it and taking a couple of notes, I went to the Hobby shop and bought a few tools that you recommended. I found that my Competition bird had it's starboard wingtip a full inch out in front of the other. No wonder it took so much trim to straighten it out. I also found that the Decalage was nearly 2 degrees negative. OUCH!! I fixed both problems and evened out the control throws. I didn't have time to check everything so I still need to continue "Fine Tuning" this beauty. Instead of her dragging her tail feathers thru the air and needing elevator to overcome it, the tail actually worked like it was supposed to. After Mike Lee trimmed out my Breeze, I immediately got a 25 minute, 36 second flight in light lift. I think it helped. Hehehehehehehe This is truth, ask Mike. Sadly the competition will get better if they buy PT.- W. Rhinehart

"Paul Natons' Performance Tuning For Gliders just arrived yesterday afternoon at my doorstep! Watched it last night and again this afternoon...Wow..what a lot of useful information.Enthralling, beginning to end. He explains things like decelage and incidence angles, so that even I can understand. Now I know what adverse yaw looks like AND how to correct it.Throws, camber, reflex, flight modes, and advanced computer radio setup?...ALL covered. Then..... the flight test...all done with a stock flapped sailplane than anyone can afford...(with a few high performance ones thrown in for good luck) " -Ken

"Thanks for putting this together, Paul. I agree with the other comments. It is a terrific DVD. While I already knew about the different components of trimming, the DVD does a wonderful job bringing a process and logic to trimming a plane. I've been applying it to my Graphite 2e and have already uncovered some problems that would have taken me ages to identify with the random approach I've taken in the past. BTW, I watched a lot of it with my 3 month old daughter. Somehow, she found your voice kind of hypnotic ...Looking forward to more how-tos."-Diesel

"I recently bought several of the RadioCarbonArt DVDs including the one on Performance Tuning. I learned a great deal and found all of them to be very informative. I would echo the recommendations for DVDs on High Start/Winch launching as well as on the various contest formats. I'd certainly buy these topics. I'd like to see one that was very detailed on composite building techniques as well. Great job Paul!" -Bob

"Got my copy yesterday. Goes over most things I knew, but realised I never put in to action!! I Must try harder My only criticism is the lack of a decent menu to jump to a particular section" -Vincent

"Performance Tuning DVD that I just purchased was very good, full of stuff most of us know but seldom practice. He gets his points across well, and does a good job of conveying his data. This presentation has 95% good data, and very little, if you want to call it that, fluff ! Ireally liked the approach to the subject, and the demonstarted results. Its good data for any one, a really good "SHOP" disk..... and a welcome addition to my libarary" Jack Strother

"I received the new Tuning DVD a couple of weeks ago but didn't get a chance to view it until this weekend. Awesome job!! I've heard of, or done most of what was covered, but I never put it all together as a preflight stand-alone activity. And you gave me some new uses for my incidence meter. Great photography and sound as usual. " -Keith
